George Chandick Scholarship Recipients
Seven Hills Hall of Fame is proud to announce our first recipient of The George Chandick Scholarship! John will be awarded the check at our November 14th Induction Ceremony at The Seven Hills Recreation Center from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm. Dinner will be from Valenti’s and our Arts and Humanities Inductees will receive their plaques. Our space is limited so we will be providing a link to watch our program. Tickets are 15.00 a piece.

2020 - JOHN NIEZGODA
John Niezgoda has lived in Seven Hills his entire life and has participated in many of their sports programs, including soccer and the swim team, Seven Hills Seahawks. He currently is a senior at Padua Franciscan High School. He is part of their award-winning, nationally-heralded MedTrack program. It is an advanced science track focused on helping students explore and prepare for careers in healthcare. The comprehensive program combines advanced coursework, enrichment opportunities and practical experiences, which included an externship at the Cleveland VA Medical Center’s Functional Electrical Stimulation Center. After graduation in May 2021, John plans on attending college to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering. He wants to be able to help people restore their function and mobility in order to have a better quality of life. In John’s spare time he loves to ride his bike around Seven Hills and also participates in bike races and challenges. He also volunteers his time at the Parma Hunger Center when not in school.
