Jennifer Sieracki Nichols

While many wish they could fly, the evidence suggests that Jennifer Sieracki Nichols might actually be able to.  A long-jumping extraordinaire, Jennifer can forever claim the title of Normandy and Seven Hills’ first state champion, jumping a mind boggling 18’ 10”.  Jennifer was a complete track and field start, not content to just break Normandy school records (some of which still stand today), she broke the state record five times her junior year.  She took her talents nationally as well, placing 15th in the nation in the Junior Olympics in 1989.  She continued her success in college, setting records at the University of Akron not only in long jump, but also in relays and sprints.  Now a Placement Specialist in Summit County Children Services, Jennifer still coaches the sport she once dominated.
